How did OVRDRV DJ start?
*insert story of how I went to a music festival and I was sooooo inspired*
But really, that’s how it happened! Our goal was to be performers on the big stage. We started making music in our bedrooms, watching YouTube videos on how to become better DJs, and sampling our favorite artists to remix their tracks.
Fast forward a few years, we finished our degrees, moved to our new home to Boise, ID, and started getting serious about honing our craft. We still wanted to be great DJs but pivoted to something that we now love to be a part of, weddings!
At first, I was hesitant to do weddings, but after my first one, I knew this was the right place for us.
That was in 2019!
And now, after 40+ weddings, we are only getting better!

What is your favorite type of music?
My music taste is pretty diverse, I know, you’re not surprised. I’d say it’s a mix of the 40’s like Frank Sinatra to the new dance and hip-hop producers like Fred Again and Metro Boomin, respectively.
What do I do for fun?
OH MAN! If you asked my other DJs they would probably say different things! I’d say coaching football, playing city league sports like flag football, softball, and basketball, going to concerts, skiing with friends, mountain biking, and traveling.
What is my connection to OVRDRV?
I am OVRDRV? Essentially, yes, I am the owner of OVRDRV and have been going strong since 2017! The rest of the crew are some of my best friends!
What do I bring to our events?
I’m the “mixologist” of the group. My goal is to shake, blend, or otherwise mix all your songs so the party doesn’t stop for one moment! I’m the appointed master of the music accompanied by two masters of the mic with Marshal and Hayden.

Favorite Type of Music:
I am typically listening to classic country music and sometimes I listen to some early 2000 rap. But, I also spend a fair amount of time jamming to punk rock.
What do I do for fun:
I spend as much time as I can outside, if I am not hunting I am out camping and backpacking. In general, I just want to be outside.
Connection to OVRDRV:
Grayson brought me on about 2 years ago to help build OVRDRV. Since then he’s been teaching me more behind the board.
Bringing to the party:
When it’s party time I am here to get loud on the Mic. I will compete with the other DJ’s to make sure the dance floor is always hopping. One of the best feelings is when you pick the song that gets everyone dancing.

Favorite Type of Music:
My music taste leans towards country and pop, but I can mix it up to keep the dancefloor moving all night long.
What do I do for fun:
Outside of DJing, I spend my summers coaching baseball, sharing my love for the game and helping young athletes grow.
Connection to OVRDRV:
My connection to this company runs deep, DJ Gray and I have been buddies for over 10 years! As far as being a DJ, I was brought into OVRDRV in early 2025.

If there’s one thing I bring to every party, it’s energy on the mic! I love getting the crowd hyped and making sure every event is one to remember.
